JAMA stands for Jesus Awakening Movement for America/All Nations and is a prayer and awakening movement based on 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if My people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven an will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

JAMA’s three-fold mission is : one) to mobilize local churches (“if my people) to humble themselves, pray and seek God’s face in repentance of their own sin (2 Chronicles 7:14, Joel 2:12-13) as well as the sins of this nation (Nehemiah 1:5-7); two)to humbly ask the Lord to revive His people by the work of the Holy Spirit and bring healing to our families, our churches, our communities, and America (Psalms 85:6, Acts 4:31, Romans 12:1-2); and three) to develop participants to shed their bystander mentality and become changing agents of Jesus Christ impacting the very mainstream America and the world for His glory (Zechariah 8:20-21, Matthew 28:19, Acts 26:16-18). JAMA, which is not a para-church ministry, but a movement geared towards strengthening the local church, seeks to carry our this three-fold mission on several fronts:

  • National and regional conferences (New Awakening Conferences & Intercessory Prayer Confereces)
  • Leadership training programs (Global Leadership Development Institute (GLDI))
  • Pastoral and lay-leader training and strategic vision-casting (Global Leadership Forum (GLF) & Total Leadership Forum(TLF))
  • Working professionals (God Employed (GE))
